Lovely pub/hotel. Spotless, very well maintained and kept. Can see moneys been invested. Best asset is the staff (sorry can’t recall names), very helpful and friendly. Restaurant manager went to the lengths of saving our wine from Friday evening so we could finish it on the Saturday. Great beers too. Only issue we have was the noise in room 2. There was a constant hum which we could not find the source of. However (oddly), the ceiling lights still gave out some light even when switched off so possible that the lights were also giving out the hum? Plus room 2 is right next to the housekeeping room, so we were woken up to the noise of a washing machine and tumble dryer at around 6.30 both mornings. If we stay again, we’d book a different room. We didn’t sleep well unfortunately.That aside, we’d still recommend. Just avoid room 2.- Chris R
From the warm welcome to the final checkout, we had a fantastic experience.The room was beautiful, the food and drink in the pub was fabulous and the customer service faultless.Please keep this up and we will definitely return. - Ian W
Needed an escape from work and London and found this incredible place. A couple of hours on the motorbike and I arrived at this special place. Clean and tidy plus the staff cannot do enough for you. The evening meal and breakfast was second to none. Fantastic. I will be going back.- Kevin S
